St. Francis Healthcare Campus serves Breckenridge and the
surrounding area. This modern health care facility is a 25 bed acute care hospital
providing 24 hour emergency room service. Many additional services including intensive
care, coronary care, surgical services, outpatient and same day surgery, as well as
rehabilitation and diagnostic services are available at the Center. The Family
Center of the hospital provides maternity services and prenatal education. Additional
support services include social, occupational and home health care. Extended support
services include evaluation and counseling services available through the Hope Unit and Riveredge Hospice.
St. Francis Nursing Home
is a 124 bed skilled care facility which in addition to its 24 hour skilled nursing care
offers pastoral care, adult day care, as well as recreational and occupational activities.
Breckenridge’s sister city, Wahpeton, North Dakota, has two additional long term care
facilities, one skilled and one intermediate care, both of which are readily accessible
from the Breckenridge community. Appletree
Court is a 20 unit independent apartment complex with services for the elderly. |

Benedictine Health System, St. Catherine's Living Center, adheres to
four core values, Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice. Our
services are designed to help seniors stay in their homes, improve
their quality of life, and prevent premature nursing home placement.
St. Catherine's continuum of care
includes Outpatient therapy, Short term rehabilitation, Home Health
Care, Friendship Corner Adult Day Service, and Overnight respite
care.
When skilled nursing is required,
residents at St. Catherine's Living Center enjoy independence and
dignity in a homelike atmosphere. You decide when you want to sleep
& wake. You decide when you want to eat with 5 meal opportunities
per day (continental breakfast, brunch, afternoon snack, supper &
evening snack) in your room or in our elegant dining areas. You
decide how to want to worship & celebrate through multiple cultural
& spiritual programs. You decide how to relax in your room or
in one of our indoor lounges with television or aviaries or in the
great outdoors enjoying the patio, gazebo, walking paths or flower
and vegetable gardens. You decide how you want to spend your day
through resident volunteer opportunities social functions, computers
and internet access and family room for private visiting.
